CGCA’s main commitment is to offer quality education with a biblical foundation. Therefore, we are staffed with administrators and teachers that have been academically qualified with a degree and/or vast experience in the administration and educational field as well as spiritually prepared as a plus requirement for the school.
Admissions of all students enrolled at the academy are based on review of the academic records, submission of required paperwork and interview with the administrative staff. Once admitted, students are required to take a diagnostic assessment to determine the academic level and the curriculum level and the number of paces/books to complete during the academic year. All students are required to take an assessment test every year in April. Transportation not covered by a scholarship is available for a discounted fee. Lunch is not provided at this time.
Below are some rules for students to follow during the academic year:
- Attend school every day, unless they are legally excused. Minimum requirements for 180 school days as mandated by DOE.
- Follow class rules.
- Treat staff, other pupils and members of the school community with dignity and respect.
- Complete their assignments and assigned homework and bring their agendas to school each day. Parents should check their children’s agendas every day to assist students with their curricular activities.
- Follow uniform policies
No behavior that affects other people’s safety such as harassment, bullying or any illegal activity will be tolerated at our school.
Please read our Student Handbook for more details on our rules and policies. All Parents that are provided bus service, please read Transportation Rules & Responsibilities
